“Temi’s Browser”
Temi (6th Grade)

“Stop Light”
Adaeze (6th Grade)
I added a sky, buildings, car, and sun!

“Flashy Balloons”
Aiden (6th Grade)
I wanted to make the balloons change colors and move around throughout the canvas to make my Flashy Balloons.
“I enjoyed being stuck so then I could go back and find answers to my problems.“

“Random Stairs Repair”
Emmanuel A (6th Grade)
My project makes randomly generated stairs load in. Once the stairs are loaded you can add “tape” on them to “fix them”. The stairs aren’t actually fixed but they do appear fixed.

“Stranger Danger!”
Salma (6th Grade)
My project was mostly to explore what coding can do and so far I’ve learnt a lot. The main thing I used for my project was adding pictures but I also used another app to cut part of the picture and add it back to CodeHS, and continuing to add lines, I also learned things I can’t do like add a transparent picture. My project is a development from the balloons exercise. It’s about this lady giving a child balloons with a knife behind their back. She has a pack of balloons with a circle rock keeping it down. The lady is holding a changing color balloon in her hand to the little girl. The child looks confused but is still interested in the balloons that change colors. Pretty brutal right? This project had its ups and downs but it turned out as it is.

“Winter Wonderland”
Jennifer (6th Grade)
My project is about the colors of Christmas and winter. My project starts with a Christmas tree in the middle of the screen. Then there are two colliding balls which meet in the middle, to represent a ticking clock that hits midnight. Then there are a lot of of circles that appear on the screen to represent Christmas lights.

“Black Lives Matter”
Sulayman (6th Grade)
I made a face that changes different skin tones and eye colors with a mask. What this is supposed to symbolize is the Black Lives Matter movement. I have the mask because its peak was during the virus, and I have the changing eye color and different colored eyes to show that there are many different people in the movement.

“Age Checker: City Edition”

“Balloons in Heaven”
Miracle (5th Grade)
My project is a basket with balloons attached to the basket. It’s in the sky and there are balloons not in the balloon bundle to show them loose and just floating in the air.

“Math Test”
Emmanuel I (5th Grade)
My project asks my reader questions about math. The reader has to answer them and if they get one wrong, they lose a point and if they get one right, they gain a point. You need to a score a ⅘ or higher to win.

“Marvelous’ Pool Table Play”
Marvelous (5th Grade)
My project is a pool table that, when the code is run, you can see that it shows the aftereffect of when the cue hits the pool balls. I first created a green pool table, the pool balls, and the text on the pool balls. Then, I changed the positions when the pool balls were hit by the cue.
